SOLD!: Wyatt, 16yr TB Gelding

Picture

Wyatt is a go-getter. A barn mascot. He loves to work, and takes pride in doing things well. He’s thoughtful, personable, soft, and just plain fun to work with. Up until about two years ago he was eventing, competing at Training Level and doing quite well. He was retired when his owner went to college, and enjoys his new life riding trails and practicing dressage. He has beautiful gaits, is easy to collect, nicely forward but not generally hot; has superb body control. He has been ridden both english and western, but if you want to learn more about classical dressage, Wyatt is a delight. Shoulders in, haunches in, leg yield, lead changes, all with little effort.
Wyatt’s ideal companion is an easy-going rider (if you understand eventing
horses, huge plus) who enjoys dressage and the occasional hack on the trail.
Wyatt has been well cared for, he’s up to date on everything; he’s quiet on the ground— great for the vet, farrier, and is sweet and well-mannered enough for novices. Loads, hauls, clips, bathes, ties- whatever you want, stands like a
soldier. He’s a super easy keeper, always healthy and sound.
Wyatt was recently purchased by non-profit Hooves with Heart, and while he's been ideal in every aspect of their program working with disadvantaged youth, he's not meshed with their co-ed herd and for that alone he is again looking for a home.

Option to purchase Wyatt's tack, blankets and such as well, for a fraction of what you'd pay new. Current video link below shows his ability, but he is a bit out of shape!; older youtube video is available (made about a year ago)showing him when he's fit, pls inquire for that link.

SOLD! GS Justified (Justy), 9yr Arabian Gelding

Picture
Justy is one-of-a-kind.  If I hadn't just bought Penny, I would have found a way to snap him up.  He's had quite a bit of professional training with Kim McLaughlin at Eagle Mountain Ranch (though he's a bit rusty these days), and tons of miles - at clinics, trails, and trail competitions. A life change forces this sale, but the owner is able to wait for the right partner to come along. Justy is a good sized horse, about 15.2 and stout; has a big ground covering trot, and a sweet canter. He will go through darn near any obstacle, barely looking twice. He's had extensive trail miles, been on a couple overnights, and done several ACTHA rides. He does best with regular work, but has been known to hit the trails after long breaks. Will lead or follow, alone or in a group. Loads, hauls, clips, bathes, ties - you name it - up to date on all . Awesome feet, never needed shoes, but he likes to have boots for the really rough terrain. Justy's ready to go home with you!

SOLD! Breve, 14 yr Paint Mare

Picture
Breve is a superb all-around horse. She's been ridden huntseat, western, showmanship, trail, and dressage. Shes a worker-bee, honest and proud, she puts her heart into everything she does.  She loves to be working and is does best in a regular program; currently in full training (being ridden 5-6 days a week) since April, and will continue to be in training until sold. She is light to the aids and is very attentive to her rider.  Great show mount for a confident youth or AA, Breves been shown 4-H and open shows, and has always done well. She has also been trail ridden - she's great with a buddy, and with the right partner she'll go alone. Loads, clips, ties, bathes anything you want to do with her - she has impeccable ground manners; great with the vet and farrier and is current on everything. Her youth owner is in college and not able to give Breve the attention she deserves. Breve loves attention, and will thrive in any active equestrian family. Price is negotiable to the ideal home. Sorry, no leases or trades.
